I finally picked up my new glasses - complete with seemless bifocals - and wow. I can see the world so clearly. I've also been trying mono lens contacts and I'm not sure they are going to cut it compared to the crisp of these glasses. I ended up with a weird reaction to my migraine med today, and spent about 4 hours in urgent care/ER. While checking in in urgent care and they observed me shaking/flailing, panting, and stuttering, they didn't want to wait for a room and nurse in Urgent Care, so they wheeled me to the ER. While doing nothing, not eating a thing, I chipped a tiny piece off one of my lower front teeth. Not enough to be an issue health/smile-wise, but enough to be driving my tongue nuts. Ngaaaah.

The longer winter has progressed, the more and more surprised I've been that I haven't caught a cold, particularly after last winter and the one hundred and ten colds. I'm back from my near time off and travels.

We were at Grandma's for Thanksgiving and it was a great visit. She was about as energetic as I've seen her in years, even with all her health issues, including emphysema and arthritis so bad she can't lift her arms over her head.
