What: Mimi winds up, well...here! And drama ensues.
"Anou ne, Jyou-sempai, I'm really looking foward to seeing the others once I get there. Please don't let them in on the surprise! I can't wait to see the look on Sora-chan's face." The pinkette, having recently re-dyed her hair, chirped through the phone, a slight giggle being held back. It had been too long since she had seen her friends, and the times she did see them were too short-lived before she'd have to go back through the computer passing through the digital gates to return to America, alone.
"Mimi-kun, I'm sure they-" His voice was abruptly gone, much to the girl's surprise.
"Jyou-sempai?" She stared at the phone. No signal. "EHHHHHH?! NO SIGNAL?!" She shook the phone vigorously. "MOUUUUU!!! Always at the worst possible..."

Why in the world was she standing in a creepy area, where there was a creepy neighborhood and a creepy school, and not in the safe confines of her obnoxiously pink room?
She reached for her digivice, which was clipped to her skirt. Usually it had the soft glow that indicated it was in sleep mode.
It was completely black.
Ok, panic mode was now setting in. At least if one of her friends was here, she'd be able to have someone help make sense of this. Taichi-kun would know what to do. Or Kou-chan could figure it out.
Something moved, and she jumped. Was it a mere figment of her imagination, or something else?
"Some help would be really nice right about now..." she whimpered, and clutched to herself as she started backing away from where she thought she saw it move.
