What: Rukia re-arrives in the City, none too happy and just a tad confused.

It was like that girl in the movie had said. 'I don't think we're in Kansas anymore'. Which would have made perfect sense, if she knew what a "Kansas" was. Probably something she'd have to make Ichigo tell her. Emphasis on the word "make", because it would likely take a few blows to the head -- or shin, whichever presented itself first -- before she got an answer that she deemed satisfactory. Mostly because Ichigo's answers tended to be short, succinct, and entirely lacking of enough detail for her tastes. Which also meant they were wrong. But now wasn't really the time to be mulling over new ways to make her absent companion suffer.

Glancing around, Rukia cast her eyes back up the long expanse of stairs stretching up into the thick and pervading darkness. It was eerie. Not just the staircase itself -- though it's sheer size was rather mind-boggling -- but this place entirely. Now if she could just figure out where this was, and how to get out of HERE, and back to Hueco Mundo where her friends were...
