Good thing you only have one significant other, or else you'd be looking at multiples of 7! You know 14, 21, etc.

Eat, visit, try to be merry!

I am the significant other mentioned in the last post. I have to say that my boyfriend, particularly around the holidays, likes to exaggerate. Let it be known that:

A) When he informed me of his office party being re-scheduled, I did NOT say that now we could go to another one of mine. I said that now I could go to another one of mine...

B)The only two--that's right, TWO (not seven)-- holiday parties that we are going to are the ones for my work. As well it should be, because I've worked there for 9 months and he has never stepped foot near one of our monthly events.

I'm not stupid. I know that the holiday party evokes fear in anti-social males' hearts all over the world. And in all honesty, that's alright with me. If I am either suffering or depressed at Christmastime, he's going down with me.

How, pray tell, can you be depressed for the holidays with such a "hottie" significant other. You'd think you'd want him somewhere all to yourself. It's not about the parties, it's about the time together - and I know that's a good thing!
