Well the time finally came & my little bundle of joy has arrived. Dylan was born Friday, June 24th at 10:01PM by C-section. I was induced and was in labor for 12 hours, but was stuck at 8cm for the last 5 hours, so I had a C-section and my little guy made it here. I finally got a quick chance to jump online.. still no little bundle of joy, yet! I only have 8 days until the due date, so any day now (I hope!). I'm feeling very big and getting more exhausted. I'm not too nervous, just mostly anxious and ready to see my little boy. It's closer than ever, so I'm excited. My dad will be here on the 17th to stay ( Read more... )

It seems Dylan has dropped even lower.. my belly is so heavy and I can't imagine it dropping any lower. I know they say women with their first child can drop up to 4 weeks before delvery, but I don't feel like I'll make it to the due date. It's just a gut-feeling I guess. Yesterday was so nice.. it was the LAZIEST day of my life and my husband actually joined in on the laziness. He's usually always doing something, like he doesn't know how to rest! But yesterday we laid on the couch all day and watched TV and movies. I made a big yummy breakfast and just bummed it all day. It felt great though b/c I'm starting to ( Read more... )

Just a quick update to say how wonderful my husband is. He greets me every morning with a smile & kiss on his way to work and lets me sleep until I wake up. He understand that I wake up every couple of hours through the night just to use the restroom! He helps pull my big butt off the couch everytime I get up at night b/c he knows how hard it is ( Read more... )

The weather is getting pretty hot and although I love it, it's also making me miserable! Puffy feet and sweating is not my idea of fun, heh. This weekend was a good one though. Quick update just to say everything is going well. I'm feeling pretty good, although I'm getting a little more anxious about the big day. I feel like I can't get any bigger!
