A happy start to the Year of the Dragon
I know it has been a long time since I've updated, and I'm sorry it has taken so long! I was pretty busy with Rudy visiting and us touring Beijing and whatnot, and then after that I just felt a bit overwhelmed for a while about how much I might have to say on here. Busy
It has been a crazy busy week. I got back from Portland on Sunday night after having driven all day, just to get up early on Monday morning for my week of teaching Game Design 1 for TechKnowHow. It's gone well, though some things could have gone more smoothly; this is to be expected for my first week of teaching this class. I'll do better next ( Read more... ) -
A year of humility
Time passing eludes me so much and just makes me feel so old sometimes. I was just thinking back to December of 2003, when so many terrible things happened in my life: my ex-fiance sexually assaulted me and broke up with me, and then there was the 6.5 earthquake we had in Paso a few days later. Nothing personal. I'm just hardly here much anymore, so I need to make my friends page more manageable for when I am here. I'm basically just deleting the ones I never read.
