I'll know by Friday whether I'm moving to China or not.
I'm going to have a Skype interview with Gene in China tomorrow morning at 7:30 (eww), and after that he will make a final decision of whether to hire me. I have to give a demo lesson, and I'm planning on giving the same demo lesson I gave to Oriana... though it will be a tad awkward over webcam, but oh well. He said he would let me know his final decision by 4 AM on Friday morning, so I will be able to let Sue at TechKnowHow know if I can accept her job offer by Friday. That means that either way, I will have a job this summer. :)
The fact that I very well might be moving to China next month is starting to hit me. I called T-Mobile today to ask them what I should do about my cell phone plan, and they said I could suspend my account for 90 days, then call during that 90 days and ask them to extend the suspension, and keep having them do that for the rest of the year... they said they can't guarantee that they'll extend the suspension through a whole year, but that they've seen it happen before. *shrug* It'll be annoying to have to call them from China every so often, but less annoying than having to pay $200 to cut off my contract with them.
Okay, now I need to finish grading these stories my students wrote, and then at 10:30 tonight I'm babysitting for like an hour. It'll be an easy, fun kid to watch, but I kinda wish I'd decided to just stay in tonight instead, cos I have so much work to do. :/ I spent like two hours today just calling all of my students' parents to update them on how their kids are doing in my classes. So time consuming!
