My favourite new tea blend:
Adagio's
rooibos almond + Archer Farms (Target's)
fruit sangria. Yummy!
Other stuff:
Yesterday I got a yoga mat at Target, one that is nice and squishy, thicker than most the others. I also got a digital audio recorder and began using that in my Spanish class today. I swear, that class is going to be completely pointless. He babbles on and on about things that don't even relate with the literature. Today he spent the entire hour and fifteen minutes going over his class rules, which include no eating, drinking or chewing gum, no getting up to go to the bathroom during class, and no reading books from other classes... what is this, high school all over again? The funny part was that I was totally chewing gum and reading a book for another class while he was going over the rules against it. That just goes to show he really pays attention. :P At least the reading was easy enough and was pretty short.
Then today I bought a Spanish-English dictionary, since my Spanish-English translator that my sister gave me years ago doesn't seem to have as many words as I need. Half the time when I look something up, it doesn't have the word in it. So, hopefully this dictionary helps. And after school, alas, I had to go home (instead of going to the knitting group I wanted to go to) and do laundry so I can have clean clothes to take with me this weekend when I go to San Luis Obispo for the
Dave and Haley Blues Workshop. :D I'm so excited about it! Oh and while doing my laundry, I snagged
A Chaucer Reader from the bookshelf, since I figured someone clearly had wanted to get rid of it, and I doubted anyone would want to sit around and read middle English whilst waiting on their laundry. :P Yay for Chaucer!
Tomorrow I leave for San Luis Obispo with Spiro and Jared. I am super excited to get to see my SLO friends and dance with them again. I'm also going to bring my rock climbing gear and hopefully the three of us will get into SLO early enough tomorrow to go rock climbing at the Crux before going to the SLO Swingout. :) And after the SLO Swingout there's a house party! This weekend is just going to rock. I'm going to see my parents, too! Hopefully, anyway... I called my mom today and she didn't answer. Hopefully we can eat dinner together on Saturday or something.
Now I'm off to watch the two American Idol episodes I have waiting for me on my DVR. Hope you're all doing well!
