(no subject)
Jessica called me again this morning, which was a nice surprise. I would have expected to hear from Phillip again before hearing from her, but it was cool to talk to her, even though I only had like 10 minutes. I was getting ready for work... and it was like 7 PM for her, haha. I guess Germany is like 9 hours ahead of California's time.
Other than that, today's been pretty typical. I worked for only like 2 hours, which is what my Wednesdays are always like, and then I came home, hung out for awhile, and then took my mom to her treatment. She was supposed to get a PET Scan the other day, but the machine was down so she couldn't, so they decided to wait yet another week to actually start her chemo again. So that made that trip rather short, since she just had to get her Herceptin, and afterwards we just came home.
I've been reading The Castle in the Attic by Elizabeth Winthrop, and so far it's good. I'm surprised I didn't read this when I was a kid; it looked so familiar, I could've sworn I'd read it, but now that I've started reading it, none of it seems familiar at all. And yes, it is a kid book, haha, but I'm reading it for my Children's Lit class, so I have an excuse. :P I have class tonight, yay! It's starting to become the highlight of my week. We don't even have any tests at all in that class... how sweet is that?!
So, other than all that, I've just been sitting around listening to all the music I have on my computer that I haven't listened to yet... it's gonna take awhile, especially cos I'm downloading more as I go, haha. My last.fm account has got me addicted to listening to more and more music, and finding new artists I like. I found a few today, even.
