(no subject)
Well, I've been having a great time so far in Connecticut! I went out with my sis today, and went shopping at fun places. I got some cheap clothes on close-out at Bob's, and I sent out a bunch of postcards today, too, so those of you who requested postcards, you should be getting them sometime soon! We also did some laundry and took a walk through a pretty park. It's been fun to spend time with her and go places together like we used to do. ^_^
I talked with Phillip tonight, and he's leaving to go to Bangor, Washington on Monday, he says. So this will be his last weekend in Virginia. I guess he's going to help me get home by buying me a one-way plane ticket to get back, since travelling standby has proven to be pretty impossible and much more trouble than it's worth... I'm just regretting spending $70 on those tickets... Phillip acted like I could get some or all of that money back, but I'm not sure. I'll have to talk to Gregg about it. But it looks like I should be going home on the 14th, for sure. I'll probably fly into San Jose, but then I'm not sure how I'll get home from there... if nothing else, perhaps I can take a bus.
That's about all for now... I'll update more with photos sometime soon. I have tons of photos to post... mostly from the zoo, so far, though, so most of them will probably show up on thrumylens instead of here.
