The Trees Are Turning Colors, And It's Cold, But I Don't Mind

No, I don't really have anything fandom-y to post. (Although, I was in history, and Mr. Muller came in to look for something. And my teacher was like, "Oh, yes, we're having a very interesting conversation." And without missing a beat, Mr. Muller says, "Oh, about Superman? Aha. Thanks for the overhead, Ben." And walks out. IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER.)

So anyway, it's kind of cool, 'cause last night was the opening of this fair in town. It's like, the oldest fair in America, or something like that, so people from all over show up. But anyway, if you live in town, then you can get in free on opening night. You also get some free ride passes, and a discounted meal and stuff like that (I got this sitr fry stuff at the Kowloon stand and it was soooo good.) So yeah, basically everyone in town goes. I saw a bunch of my friends, and some people from my old school that I hadn't seen for a while, and that was great. ALSO I GOT FRIED DOUGH. I loooove fried dough, and I only eat it during Fair Week, so that makes it even better.

So anyway, my brother had a playdate, and my mum went with her boyfriend (who I call D, for future reference. Also, he's awesome, and reminds me of Gumshoe, like, so much.) So, I hung out with them for a while, because they're fun to hang out with. We also went to go visit the Abusive Clown, same as every year. Basically, he's one of those guys in the dunk booth, and he insults anyone who walks past. Like, he was saying how short I was, and how when I finally get to drive, you'll be able to see my feet on my driver's license. I was like, "ha," but D and my mum were cracking up, and so that made me crack up, and it was just fun.

And then my brother and his friend were bugging me, so I met up with a couple of friends and hung out with them and ate more crap food then we possibly could and visited the animals and stuff. (And also, there was this jerk kid who walked into the cow barn and smacked this one cow in the butt, and my friend Paige went up and yelled at him. It was great.)

I went to go see the sheep. They were cute, and soft, and a few of them had dreadlocks. XD

So yeah. I came home, took a shower, went to bed, and actually slept in for the first time in forever. And I had all of my winter blankets, so I was nice and toasty, and when I woke up, it was sunny (remember how I said it was pouring a few posts ago? It finally stopped in time for the Fair.) and the light was all autumn-ish and cozy. And also, I haven't woken up actually feeling rested for a while, and I did, so that was great. So I got up, and D is doing some work on our house, so I decided to make breakfast, and that was nice. (Scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, toast, and then apple slices coated in cinnamon, sugar and a little nutmeg, then fried up with a little bit of butter. Really good, yo.)

And now I have homework to do and stuff. I have a paper due in history, bio, and english, so I have to get started on that. I also have this really nice camera that I want to set up, 'cause I'm going back to the Fair on Wednesday and I want to take, like, a crapload of pictures. I also need to set up a deviantart for my photography, since most people in my Photo Club at school have one. And also, I need to start drawing a picture for D, because his birthday is coming up soon. I think he'd like that.

So... Yeah. I'm off to get some work done. =D
