I’m late because yesterday was a nonstop NaNolicious day. I started with a write in at the Mulberry Street NYPL, then went to the Harry Potter movie with Shhbabe and Miyridian (which was great and now I need to finish book 6 and start 7), then to the Drink In at Flannery’s, and the Dine In where several pigs in blankets were eaten by me.

Reading:
The Great Book of Amber by Roger Zelazny. He was one of my writing heroes. Narrative, prose, characterization--he could do it all. Man I love his prose. NEFSA put out a six volume hardback collection of his extant short stories and poetry. I’m broke but I may need to buy it for myself for Christmas. Zelazny won 3 Hugos and 6 Nebulas. He was a master. There’s a lot to learn from his work.

Civil War comics series
My comics education continues intermittently as always.
I want to start Comico’s The Elementals again after Civil War. Maybe I will finish this time.
I found complete limited edition Armageddonquest for a measly $15 on ebay. It is almost mine. It was badly drawn but the story was fantastic and definitely needs to be in my library.

Planning:
Writing writing writing.
A birthday party at a lounge tonight with the pretty crowd.
Signing a new lease despite the subwoofing DJ downstairs.
Seattle for a bunch of December.

Writing:
NaNo is making my brain grow. I need to figure out some plot twists because the story is mostly done and adding description isn’t going to give me 20k.

Wearing:
I need new threads. I’m tired of my old clothes. I guess I should look for a job.
