Over the weekend my mother, grandmother, Sam and I went on a road trip to West Virginia. We drove many crazy mountain roads and went to Seneca Caverns. My mom helped a lady at the motel we were staying at whose car had broke down. She gave her a lift to the car. They were from Michigan and had four kids. The boyfriend was freaking out because he was from Chicago and was really worried about the hill people. We also met a father and son biker duo. They must have been riding cross country. My mom braided the hair of one of them.
On the way home we went to Charlestown Races and Slots. My grandmother won 600 dollars on the third try at her first slot machine. That's pretty typical. Sam was better at the go to the bar and get drinks part than the gambling part.
So it was a lot of fun. Sam started freaking out at the end about school, but it all worked out ok.
