Author's Note: Random, much? I'm taking this Multifandom thing too seriously and using it as an excuse to write for fandoms I never write. This was not meant to be as suggestive as it wound up being, yet I still managed to keep it a G-rating. Go me. Thanks muchly for Kat's help with the German.
She shudders, not because she’s scared, but because this is just one of those things that makes her nervous- the proximity, the occasional feel of Satella’s fingers as she works out a tangle in her soft, silken hair with her fingers and then resumes with the brush. She knows that this is something that Rosette does with Chrono, which makes it seem almost intimate somehow.
"You’re shaking like a leaf, liebkind," Satella mused.
A blush creeps to her cheeks. "A-am I."
"Hush," the red-haired woman coos, soothing her shaking with a light touch of her hand. "There’ll be none of that fluttering about with me. I am not like that schlampe Rosette, who’ll snap at you with the slightest provocation."
"Rosette’s not so bad," she responds, quick to defend her friend. Satella scoffs, but says no more.
"You’re squirming, liebkind," she says as she works out a particularly nasty tangle. "And what in Gott's name have you been doing to your hair?"
"Umm... Well, there were these, ah, slime devils."
"Say no more," Satella coughed. "This may hurt a bit, but if you hold still-" She tugs hard at the last tangle and Azmaria cries out more from surprise than anything else, but then it’s all over and the German woman is back to running the brush through now tangle-free silver hair.
"All finished," she finally confirms before planting a gentle kiss on the top of the younger girl’s head. "You know, you have beautiful hair, my little liebkind."
Azmaria shudders again, but this time it’s not because she’s nervous.
At least not mostly.
