Okay so I tried putting it in third person and it totally destroyed the style so I'm re-doing it again with first person. Blah blah blahblah. I realized that I'm the person writing it so I can basically do whatever I want as long as I justify it so switching between first, second and third person should not be a problem as long as it makes sense within the story.
