So I should be doing homework, but I have a defense in 30 minutes, and focusing not so strong right now.
My committee saw the show last night, which went well. The actors did some new and unusual things, but not all were bad, so that's a plus. And the lights didn't work, so that was an interesting few minutes. Luckily, Craig was in the audience, and while he's never see it do that before (the board froze after 2 cues, and when we restarted, it didn't get better), we were able to powerdown everything (dimmers included) and restart from there. Until the house lights popped up randomly. Worry not Chelsea, it will be fixed.
I gave one of my actors a black eye, so the moral is, don't mess with me.
And when I say I gave her a black eye, I mean it was Pammy (who's 4'7"), and we were in a group hug. My elbow hit her near the temple (not at all hard), and somehow the blood pooled there the next morning. Nice. We laugh about it, even if she makes me feel horrible, and reported that her director gave her a black eye to my honors committee.
