i didnt went shooting cause it was really bad raining.. found out that skeets are moving targets.. in germany we call it "tontaubenschiessen"... anyways, got another offer to go skeetshooting tomorrow again.. if i dont go, i allready got an offer from kristin, the girl i stay with in philly to shoot with her magnum...
instead of go out shooting i hung out with philip again and we checked out the stores at bedford ave in brooklyn.. found a stray cats double cd at beacons closet a really good store for 2nd hand clothes... they have some nice ben sherman shirts there too, but unfortunatelly not my size.. check it out its on 88 north 11th in brooklyn/williamsburg...
later i went to the continental to see HEADWOUND and some other punk bands for free.. when i arrived the first band allready played and the second one, with a girl singin just went on stage.. there where not that bad, but like the day before at the connections there was no audience at the show.. i guess around 20 people or less were in the bar... wtf? it was a free show, with some good bands..
maegan and chris came along and we went for a drink to another bar to came right on time back to the continental, when nj oi! legends and former headache records artists HEADWOUND hit the stage.. and i cant tell you how brilliant they were.. this is working class streetpunk from the heart at its best.. these guys really kicked ass and it is a shame for the nyc scene, that nobody showed up to support such a great band... i hope they will come over to germany one day to play some cool and packed shows along with some other good bands.... so, if this awesome band ever play close to you make sure to support them.. they deserve it...
after their set we went back to brooklyn, to see a psychobilly/rockabilly band playing in some bar just around the corner, but unfortunatelly they allready finished their set...
so i went home... dunno really what to do today.. maybe call some friends to come over and hang out with them...
