PhotoShigenic #69

This shooting has been held just before Koyama left for the Amazon. The staff decided to buy him an "useful present" even though we didn't know yet where he had to go.
Koyama: Thank you! What is this?
Staff: It's a heat-resisting blanket
Koyama: Eh? Heat-resisting?
Staff: It doesn't spread the heat!
Koyama: Eh? Eh? Do you know where I'm going?
Staff: Eh? Ah...Σ(゚Д゚;!
...Amazon is really hot, right? It's in a tropical rain forest? There's really no need of something heat-resisting, uh? Why in that heat we gave him something so useless?
"I'll get completely dried up with this (lol). But yeah, thanks for the though!" Koyama commented our failure. Shige besides us started giggling: "Thank you for the fun contents!"
...Really, we're sorry.

We brought a heat-resisting blanket to Koyama who's going to the Amazon!!
"I'll be completely dried up!!"
Somebody who will experience the tropics nights...

"Kato", "Shige", "Shigeaki", "Shige-chan", "Geshi", "Shigeyama" (I don't really understand this one), "Sensei", etc. People around me calls me according to their tastes. There are many others examples. Also characters' names. Everytime I work to a drama or a theater show I get new names and special nicknames from the staff and co-stars. During "Rokugatsu no Bitter Orange" I was called "Nari", the Hanawake team called me "Nume (=Slimy)". Last month I was walking towards the studios from the dressing room of a TV show when I heard calling from an elevator: "Ken-chan! So long no see!!" "Ken" was my character name in Kinpachi Sensei. It was one of my old classmates in the show. But one person who didn't know this asked surprised: "Why did you call him Ken...?" That's what my classmate answered: "Well, I'd like to stop calling him Ken and use his real name". I replied that it was totally fine for me and he replied: "Ok then, I'll call you Katoshige-kun!" ...Eh? Nobody ever called me like this before. Now I sound like a new yuru-chara (=mascotte/sponsor character)... Confused I absurdely said: "Maybe you can drop the 'kun'?" The classmate answered all cheerful: "Ok, Katoshige!" ...Right now, between the sadness of not being called "Ken-chan" anymore and the uneasiness of being "Katoshige", I'm not really calm.

[A CUTE mascotte character! *O* I'm amused because Arisa from NEWSMafia_dan uses to call me Shigeyama as well XDD]

I went with the editors team of my novels to a magic bar. It was a bar with only a counter and little more than 10 seats. It's close to Ginza and its customers were all quite old. When the magic show begins it's really awesome. The lid of an empty can gets closed, a signed card floats in a sealed bottle...a chain of surprises. It lasted only one hour, so unsatisfactory! We decided to go to another magic bar. The next one was completely different, a huge place. It had a stage, they had doves flying away, a lot of playing cards, it was more showy. Then a professional magician came to our table to do magic in front of our eyes! Everything was so perfect but...the team started calling me jokingly: "Sensei, isn't it great?" The magician who heard this asked me: "Are you a sensei?"
Staff: A great sensei!
Me: Please behave...
Staff: Ahahahah!
Magician: Good, please draw a card from the deck.
Staff: Please sensei, do it!
Me: Ok...
I got the 2 of diamonds. The magician asked me to put it back in the deck: "Wait a minute and take the first card of the deck, you'll see it's your card. Please check the time with your wrist watch". I did as he said, I watched my watch and...this sticker! The magician made fun of me, so embarrassing!! When we were about to go home he said "Great sensei, please come again~" and when I tried to open the door I got caught by a trap stuck on the back side of the handle, and so I left Ginza.

[Amazing!! Come on Shige, he was just doing his job :D]
