Eeeegads folks, this weekend was the greatest. Friday after school we left town to head to Annie's family's house on Lake Michigan. The weekend got off to a perfect start when the sky was clear and the stars were out and we went down to the beach to listen to the waves and watch the sky. As with Annie's live journal, I don't feel like deriving too much information about what we did during the night time after the parents were asleep, but now I definately feel that I'm closer to her than I've ever been to anyone else in my entire life. I really feel a deep connection to her, and I pray to the gods that she's the one. We did a lot of walking on the beach and "watching" the many anime DVDs that I brought along with me. All in all, the fact that we could spend 3 days straight together and not become incredibly tired of eachother is a very good sign. I know if I spent that long with She-who-shall-not-be-named (Hint:Her name starts with an H, ends with an R, and has eathe in between) when we were going out, I would have probably killed her...very brutally.
On another note, I think I'm going to take poetry a little bit more seriously as of this summer. I keep finding myself having more and more poetic thoughts and I just need to find the time to put it to paper...or computer screen. The following is my latest work, any constructive criticism would be appreciated.
Divine Love
Her love is a divine love
Lifting me above the heavens
Making me feel elated
Like a god among men
Her eyes clear pools of affection
Smooth silk-skinned arms embrace me
Our bodies pressed close
Lips locked in passion
Never wanting to part
To leave her celestial beauty
(I think you can all guess who this is about...that's right...my mother)
P.S.-(Not really)
