1. What is the oldest object in the room with you? Definitely me, but other than that ... a cheap bookcase I've had since my teens, so it's about 50 years old. Still going strong. It's my "fandom" bookcase so I keep fic (and original fic) in it along with fannish books. It lives in my study while my other books live in the living room. 2. What is the newest? Printer. It's less than a week old. 3. What is your favorite object in the room with you? My new Martin! Sitting in here rather than the music room because I'm trying to learn some stuff from an online guitar guy. It plays like buttah. 4. What is the most valuable object? Money-wise, probably the guitar. Emotional value, probably my fiction that's on my computer and in my file cabinet and on the fandom bookshelf. 5. What is the ugliest object? Easy - all the cords hanging all over the place from the one home desktop computer, the TWO work computers, modems and routers and external drives and all the lights and printers and other electric/electronic accessories. I'm too lazy to do the work to tidy them all up and cover them with those clever cord covers they have now.
