This was so touching and sweet. It hits home for me because our church secretary who is a good friend of mine just quit because she thinks she has early stage Alzheimer's. She's only a decade older than I am . . . :(

*hugs*. I know what you are going through. We had it happen to a good friend. It is so devastating.

Thanks for reading!

Sweet way to include the quote even before the movie starts.

Ducky's memory issues moved me in particular. Damn dementia. My own mother had it and it was so sad for us to find out and realize that we didn't even know when the forgetfulness had started because my dad never told us.

*hugs*. It was a hard quote to work in.

TBG’s mom suffered from it and didn’t have a clue who he was at the end.

Thanks for the challenge.

It's my favourite quote and I was curious what you'd end up doing with it. Thank you again.

OMG. At my age, this concern lives just under the surface. Always. Every Little Thing I forget is suspect.

We began to suspect my mom had dementia in her late 70s - over 10 years before she died (at 91). I'm less than 10 years from that age now.

Yup, that's the same with me. I worry about it every time I lose a word.
