Yesterday, after TBG complained once again, they finished planting our front patch. Still haven't put down the black bark yet, but we are just that one step from being completely done. Who would have thought it would take them that long? Ye gad, they ripped our garden out in late April and have only now put in plants... and monkey grass to boot. Ugh! Not impressed at all. Yet, now I am just ready for them to be finished.
Other than that, nothing much happens here. We rebooked the same cruise, yet again, I mean, third time the lucky one, right? Now it sails January 2023. Hopefully Australia will be open by then. Princess honored all our credit, which was set to expire 12/21/2022. Whether or not this is our last cruise on Princess, I just don't know. It's not their fault, but it is getting repetitious. That means we have nothing, no plans now until Egypt of Nov. 2022. Sigh... So far away...
Of course, the good part is that we will be home for the holidays, instead of missing two Thanksgivings in a row. I have a feeling we are drawing to the end of Barb hosting the big family dinner. We will have to see what happens this year. It will be weird to have to think about redoing our outside lights and not having the big tree our front to decorate. I can't believe I'm thinking about this in July. Stupid commercial...
I've started a new quilting project, this time for Rose. Jon, I owe you a pillow because I'm going to use the one I promised you for this project instead. Hopefully, it will be this year.
Yeah, and that's it... two weeks and that's all she wrote. One madcap adventure after the next here...
