A little bit sad today
Minnie moved her kittens overnight. I think she needed a quieter place and one of our feral cats had found her 'stash'. Plus the sprinklers came on and that couldn't be good. She knows where to get food, so I'm hoping she will come for that. I'm a little concerned because as I was petting her, I felt a lump still in her belly. I'm hoping that it's not a little kitten that she couldn't deliver. She was bright and hungry yesterday, so I can only trust Bast in this. If she does choose to raise them, I hope she will bring them to us the way Misty brought hers.
Today is another race to nightfall for us. This morning we need to go to the farmer's market and prep the shrimp for tonight's swim party. We are doing the entrée and dessert. This afternoon we are going to see Princess Mononoke.It's not my favorite of Ghibli's, but it is Ghibli.
After the movie, we will race home to pick up the food, then stop at Joan's to drop off a menu for Wednesday's Music in the Park Event and then onto Jeff's for swimming, food and friends.
