I can't believe she's finally here!!!! lol.
we picked up Rhea (that's teh name we finally settled on. to keep with the mythology theme) at 2 today and brought her home. poor baby wasn't used to car rides and brought her breakfast back up. luckily, we'd planned ahead and had a towel on the floor for her. whew!
we saw our vet after she left home, let him look at her and get copies of her records and to set up appt's for the next rounds of puppy shots. he was so impressed by her (which is hard to do to our vet). he commented on her beautiful coloring and conformation, on her weight and personality and commended our choice in breeder.
on the ride home, she got a little sick again. she came in and we went right to her new bed and crate to let her get adjusted. once she ventured out on her own, we introduced her to the pack. Loki, kinda sniffs her and looks her over, but not overly enthused yet. lol. Babygirl is BEYOND happy with the newest addition. she was floppin on her belly and kissing the puppy's snout. of course, not really used to babies and having the whole 'bull in a china shop' finesse that pit bull seems to posses, she steamrolled the baby once or twice. lol. luckily she's a big girl puppy. :-)
i forgot to get my camera back from my friend, but i'll have it in a few days and then, PICTURES!!!! lol. oh i'm so happy!!!!
