I was thinking about you and totally intended to post a big celebratory message to wish you a wonderfully Happy Birthday - actually ON said Birthday - but I had trouble getting on the computer and then I fell asleep and long story short? I suck. Hope it was awesome, chica. You deserve it.

So in spite of my badness, I got this delicious DVD in the mail yesterday. *hold for fangirly scream* I've only watched about the first 40 minutes of Sexy's Macbeth performance, 'cause I had some errands to take care of, but HOLY DAMN. Was it harder than hell to tear myself away from that TV. I knew I was in for something beyond incredible, but hearing all the raving and gushing just isn't quite enough until you see it for yourself. And I haven't even SEEN the performance in its entirety yet!!! We all know the man can act, but yeesh! Just gorgeous. Captivating. Hypnotic. Talk about being made for a role. *sigh* He SO owns it. I could just kick myself for not being there LIVE.

Oh, and I just have to say. Cheryl Puente as Lady Macbeth? AMAZING! I absolutely love this woman. She and James have fantastic chemistry both as actors and as the characters - it was completely believable in every way. I was actually preparing myself to dog her, being that she was co-starring with my James (lol...), there was NO WAY she could keep up with him (*wink*wink*) but she totally held court in every sense of the word and then some. Brilliant actress. I just can't wait to see the rest of the performance. I should go do that right now. Heh.
