Wikipedia is engaged in a huge project to organize, categorize and standardize articles/info about the Whedonverse. If you have an iterest in articles, episodes, characters, meta re: BtVS, AtS, Frey and Tales of the Vampires/Tales of the Slayers, you might want to go here and check it out.
And since a lot of people have been doing that "10 Ways" meme, I decided to give it a go. It was really hard! My fics don't easily fit into one category or another. Here's the best I could do - if anyone has other suggestions, please send 'em my way!
Ten ways to tell that you're reading a spikeNdru fic:
10. If it's posted as a WIP, that just means that the remaining chapters haven't been typed or betaed yet, unless it's over 10 chapters long. In that case, the remaining chapters have been plotted/outlined, but just haven't been written. If I'm stuck on writing a story, I don't post any of it because I am totally paranoid about a case of writer's block sneaking in, resulting in storius interruptus.
9. More than likely, it was written for a ficathon or request community. I love challenges and enjoy being surprised by assignments.
8. You probably won't be able to guess the characters or pairing just by seeing my name on a fic, but-
7. -you can be pretty sure it won't be B/A, femmeslash, or dark!fic.
6. It's not a PW/oP. There will always be plot there, even if just as a reason for teh sex.
5. If Kennedy or Eve appear, they will probably be treated badly and/or killed off as soon as possible.
4. It probably includes Spike in some form - he even has a tendency to make drive-by cameos in fics that otherwise have nothing to do with him. *g*
3. If there are historical aspects, they've been researched to the best of my ability. I'm a definite fan of history and archeology and would never just 'make something up'. If someone flies from one place to another, the airline mentioned actually goes there; if someone drives a car in 1954, that car was available at that time. If for plot purposes, something isn't historically accurate, I'll tell you.
2. There will be some kind of humor involved. Even if the genre isn't specifically designated as 'humor', it tends to creep in.

This was really hard to do! I guess my fics are not easily classified. If you have any additions to this list that you want to share, I'd love to hear them. *bats eyelashes*
