HBDI thingy

Ever taken one of those personality tests? They're kind of nifty, but not the sort of thing I ever put much value in. My bosses, however, decided the whole office should take one called the HBDI (no don't ask what it stands for, I zoned out) since we might do the test creator's website. i want to say those things are total shite, but they always get me pretty accurately. or is it that they just get close enough to the way i want to believe i am? who knows.

Personality tests are total bullshit. Since it is, after all, you who fills it out, why should you be surprised when somehow, through the mysterious workings of this painstakingly crafted test, it tells you that you are like yourself? That is, all personality tests are capable of are obvious tautologies that represent nothing meaningful about an individual. The tests always irk me because they seem to want to pigeonhole me, placing me inside some neat little box. What could be more irrelevant or inane? In other words, total fucking bullshit.
