I have hope of somewhere to live next year. It isn't anything definite, but at least I have a shimmer of hope.
If any of you have a place for Laura to live, though, let us know. She's still looking. She's amazing and let me take something where she couldn't go. Thank you, Laura! Good luck, I'll keep trying to find a place for you, too.
Grammy Awards are tonight, CBS @ 8pm. You should all watch them. I was supposed to go to Dr. Chappell's house for the Music Business party, but then Rachel cancelled on me and 1. I didn't wanna go alone, 2. I'm emotionally and physically worn out and need to rest, 3. I'm sick of being around people, so I know I couldn't handle the crowd (especially if it was the obnoxious-type people that would just make me feel uncomfortable/annoyed, 4. People probably would've talked/been annoying through the whole thing so I wouldn't get to enjoy the show anyway.
So, as is becoming tradition, I will proceed to make my predictions for winners (in the categories I actually care about) and then when the show is over I will let you all know how it went. (Although I think they might have them on the website already, which wouldn't make any sense...)
Oh, and if U2 wins ANYTHING at this year's Grammys... I will break something. Mark my words. They ARE NOT that amazing. Their stuff was up for Grammys LAST year... and WON. They should be OUT OF THE RUNNING THIS YEAR. I am telling you. Bono and U2 need to go AWAY. If they perform this year on the show, I will scream at the TV and maybe smash something.
My picks:
Record of the Year - Gorillaz, "Feel Good, Inc."
Album of the Year - Mariah Carey, "The Emancipation of Mimi"
Song of the Year - Mariah Carey, "We Belong Together"
Best New Artist - Keane
Best Female Pop Vocal Performance - Kelly Clarkson, "Since U Been Gone" (but 2nd choice - Mariah Carey)
Well, I think some of them are already online. I should've done this earlier. But I'm gonna do some anyway, even though it seems I already know who won...
Best Short Form Music Video - Gorillaz, "Feel Good, Inc."
Best Rock Gospel Album - Audio Adrenaline, "Until My Heart Caves In"
Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album - anything BUT Third Day. I really don't care otherwise.
OK, time to watch the show...
