I'm done with the first semester of my junior year. I don't have to take any incompletes, and I only needed a handful of extensions. Moreover, I think I did well in all of my classes. I'm on break, and I can relax. No more forcing myself to write a research paper on three hours of sleep, or last-minute extra-credit assignments. I can relax --

Let's see. I got the first 3 earrings in either ear + the cartilage on my left ear done at Claire's at the mall. I've also had significant problems with all but the first holes in either lobe. It is cheaper, I think, but they also use a piercing gun, which hurts more, and the jewelery is pretty low-quality. You also get to sit in a chair in front of the entire store.
The two I just got done (tragus & rook) were at Piercology, which is in Victorian village. It's more expensive I believe ($30 for each piercing if you're doing lobes) but I think a lot safer. I did a lot of research into these sorts of things, and I really think it's probably the better way to go? Everything was sterilized, the people were nice, they were quick, they pierced you in a private room and I've had less discomfort post-piercing. They used high-quality jewelry and needles rather than guns, which I found hurt less?
So yes! I'd personally go to Piercology. It's a bit intimidating (at least I was) since I'm shy and scared of people with lots of facial piercings and tattoos, but it's a lot safer and these people are professionally trained in piercings. Claire's also wouldn't be a bad choice, and piercing guns seem to work fine for just the lobes, but yes.
Either way, it shouldn't hurt all that much. And, if you dislike how it turns out, you can always let the holes grow in. Besides, pretty earrings are great!
