TVXQ PERFORMS AT AVEX's 20th ANIVERSARRY GENERAL MEETING OF STOCKHOLDERS

TVXQ, one of the top male vocal groups in Asia, was invited to perform at Avex's 20th anniversary general meeting of stockholders at the Saitama Super Arena on June 22.
Some 8,910 stockholders and their families attended the general meeting to congratulate Avex on their 20th founding anniversary. The number of Avex stockholders this year increased by 2,800 compared to last year.
TVXQ, which has established itself as the face of Avex, was among the performers who performed at the event. They included singer and songwriter Noriyuki Makihira, TRF and seven-member dance vocal group Exile.
TVXQ is set to tour Japan as part of the 2008 'A-Nation' concert tour which will be held from July until the end of August. It plans to return to Korea in September with its fourth studio album.

Top J-pop singers of major record label Avex Group Holdings Inc. wowed the audience Sunday at a Saitama Super Arena concert after the company's shareholder meeting.
Among performing artists at the concert held only for the shareholders and their companions were Namie Amuro, Ai Otsuka and Kumi Koda. Individual shareholders are known for being quiet about the company's management, but the shareholders at the concert cheered loudly for their favorite artists at the concert.
This year's Avex shareholder meeting drew a record 8,910 people, an increase of 2,800 from last year. "Our shareholder meeting has become Japan's largest in history, overtaking Sony's shareholder meeting held on June 20 that had some 7,800 attendants," company officials said.

As well as Maki Goto who sang Whitney Houston's "Saving All My Love for You."
AVEX was Japan's leading dance record company back in the 90s. The company continues to endorse some of Japan's most famous J-pop singers. Goto Maki is their new talent, meanwhile our favorite Tohoshinki signed up with AVEX back in 2005, and have recently given much pride for the recording label for their successful hit singles and concerts. Their 23rd upcoming single is expected to give AVEX record sales once again on its release.
AVEX is responsible for the much-anticipated annual summer music event A-NATION which started in 2002. A-NATION is expected to wow audiences again this year with new songs and new performers.
