I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack...
I'm back at work. More important, my iPhone is back at work. YAY!
When I took it out of the bag of rice there were little bits of rice
stuck in places where things plug in and such, and I had to work them
out with tweezers and a pin, like some kind of splinter. One was
particularly stubborn, and my phone thought I was trying to plug
something into it and it kept saying "This accessory does not work with
iPhone". Finally I pried the rice out and hopehopehoped that I didn't
break anything, but it started up fine and is happy.
I can't say I'm "happy", but I am back at work. Ibuprofen is my friend,
but I am no longer chipmunk-cheeked and no longer have a mouf full o
teef. Unfortunately, I'm still avoiding coffee and other hot food, but
I had the soft part of a muffin this morning. I am so sick of yogurt
I'm ready to throw it against the wall and call it art.
I have a pile of filing to do that makes me -- well, half of me despairs
at the size of it, but the other half is pleased that the Metasharks
have finally been conditioned into getting their filing to me instead of
letting it flounder around the department, lonely and unloved.
Alphashark didn't even realize I'd been out, but that is the way of
Alphasharks the world over.
And that's the way it is on Arachnid Planet.
