A pleasant weekend. Restful. Dreary, but restful. The rain finally stopped and led straight to cold. Well, it is January.
Got a message from an old, dear friend that he was having a party Sat. night, so I went. Had a rather enjoyable time. There were many old faces I hadn't seen in years. I had to leave early as this friend and I have a history of getting very, very drunk together, and I was well on my way, but I drove. So I took off and checked in at Billy's for a few minutes before heading home.
Sunday I hung out with another good friend. We went to the Blue Dube for pie and talked.
Monday I cleaned. Whee.
So now I am tired after going back to work.
My job is boring and I don't care about what I do. It is a job turning slowly into a career that I didn't choose. I suppose that I should do something more about that, but every interview I have been on has not turned out. I either turned out to be totally unqualified (like I had no idea what they were talking about....) or I didn't like the business at all. Those were all when I was using a service. They were sending me on all of these crazy interviews. The one that I liked and they liked me all hinged on them getting a contract that they didn't get.
Ah well.
I'm just rambling and tired.
