fall out boy at voodoofest

so i saw fob play at voodoofest today and i was a tad disappointed...but this was kind of inevitable due to my addiction to online bandom...i mean how could the real boys live up to their fanfiction alter egos???...the music was good except for the fact that it was an outside show and we were too close to the stage for the balance to be right - the drums were louder than everything else...and there were lots of non-fans there at the festival and its hard to really get into the vibe when the ppl around you arent into it too...one thing i do have to say is that andy rocks the drums like nobody's business - that boy came out in nothng but shorts and played the shit out of that set...joe rocked hard too - he was all over it!...pete on the other hand kind of phoned it in...he did do a stage dive off a stack of amps etc...and he went into the crowd very briefly during the last song (saturday) but other than that, he was quite tame - and he started the set wearing his leather jacket and scarf - hello, sunny day in new orleans? - its hot!...he finally moved onto a hoodie which was fine, but at first it was just silly...patrick seems really serious while on stage...just sticks to the lyrics...he didnt make a single comment on his own - pete did all the talking to the audience...and there was very little interaction if any at all between the band members :( however, pete's hair looked cool on stage - i know he gets a lot crap about cutting his hair but it looked cool in my opinion...also, i was bummed that patrick didnt come out at all with gym class heroes - they piped in his lyrics which was major lame...travis was cute though :)
i wish i had pics to share but i only had my phone and they arent worth posting...will hopefully get btter pics on friday at the mobile show...although im not looking forward to it as much as before :( we'll see..........
