Review, thoughts, and other fangirling: AMNESIA - Episode 11

On the bright side, this episode still (mostly) has all the pretties.

On the dark side, this is exactly why I'm usually a proponent of 'The Original is Always Better' faction.

Arugh, for a game that, but it's very nature, has multiple plot lines they were doing such an admirable job of trying to keep things all together. So why is it that we've suddenly lost some very important plot points right as we come to the very end?

Yes, I was sorta happy that they brought up the creepy well of doom. But, I honestly think the episode would have benefited from *cough* actually focusing more on the other events that happened in Joker.

Immensely disappointed that they've ignored the memory hits. They're just so critical for the story. Without them we've negated A) the anomaly of Orion being unable to see said memories and B) the fact that she's out of sink with Joker is helping save her life in a world that's bent on correcting itself by killing her.

Still no references to Neal or the fact that Orion was looking for Neal before he met the Heroine.

Also, I suppose it's a measure of how spoiled we were in the raw gorgeousness of the game CGs but, for this episode I was reminded that even though the anime has stupidly detailed backgrounds...

...It's just not quite the same. (Which makes me sad in the name of Later and parallel awesomeness.)

And, for all that we knew the end is coming just via episode count...

The lack of fangirls and flaming shrines and the fact that they had the ooc text message call out on Ukyo's part just disappointed me further.

Now I'm just crossing my fingers that they don't choke at the last second.
