Mail for the Fail and Win

So.

As some of you may already be aware, a set of adorable SD AMNESIA figurines came out last month. Now, since otome figurines, and good male figurines in general, have a tendency to be few and far between (( *cough* 'cause of a certain lackage in the boobage area)) and because of the the aforementioned adorableness, I immediately decided I wanted some. But, I was having the hardest time deciding which ones I should get.

Thus, after much deep deliberation, I came to the conclusion that I simply needed all of them.

So, guess what I picked up at the post office today?

OMG~! The cuteness!!

Ukyo~! He was my absolutely do want. Wasn't about to leave it to luck of the draw.

(I'm sorta hoping they do a second set just so we can get other!Ukyo now.)

Kent looks so adorable! (And he was the one I was waffling the most on so I feel rather justified in getting all of them now. XDD)

Group shot~!! With Toma facing away in shame.

The fail aspect comes into play with the fact that these actually came in the mail on Saturday while I was at work so they needed to be picked up. Which wasn't a problem unto itself. I'd much rather have to pick something up than have it lifted off my not-a-real-doorstop. But, the post office gave me the wrong, damn pick up address for the post office several towns over.

And, having lived in the boonies most of my life, it didn't occur to me that this might be wrong. (I haven't ever lived anywhere big enough that going a couple towns over for the post that needed to be held for you wasn't the norm.)

But then, to make things worse, after I've driven 20 miles and stood and waited in line a for pick up. The checker wanted to just hand me the phone number for what she assumed was the right post office and shoo me away, rather than, you know, confirm that the package was actually there or give me the address. (It's only the post office heaven forbid they actually have the means to look up the addresses for things. *rolls eyes*)

So, it took getting the manager out for me to get a valid address (about 6 blocks away BTW) and any sort of explanation as to why such a thing happened ('Oh, we lent them one of our trucks, they must have used the leftover forms.').

*sigh*

All of which was all the more disappointing because I was going to buy Japanese mayonnaise, since that was the direction that I had to detour in anyway, but running back to catch the right office before it closed meant I had no time for mayo!! orz

*double sigh*

Ah well, at least I have cuteness now. >.<
