...Boris in an apron.

...you just completed my day. xDDD Thank you for this lovely review~ ...I would have pre-ordered the game, but since I can't read Japanese and would have no way of translating it (darn switch to PSP)... ;-; ...I must rely on awesome people like you to share. xD So, thank you again~~~

I am curious, though; what exactly was Pierce apologizing for that warranted a hallway full of cheese?

You're welcome! Glad to share! Yeah, the switch to PSP was a bummer. You'd think Quinrose would at least have the decency to give it to us on dual systems. (...The only good thing to come out of it is not having to deal with the ridiculous security that the PC games have. =.=)

The hallway of cheese comes up after the Amusement Park guys wind up trampling, literally, all over Alice idea for a new park attraction after their brainstorming session turns into a cat/mouse/violin type brawl. She goes to sulk in her room and Pierce, tries to bring her cheese to apologize... just in case she's gotten hungry in there. But, as she's still cranky, he winds up leaving the cheese in the hallway instead... and keeps bringing more and more to leave for her. XD

Thanks for reviewing Omochabako. I think you've pushed me to the breaking point where I absolutely must order it.

Dr. Nightmare? I think we have cause to be very alarmed. If he can't take a needle himself, I wouldn't want to see him trying to give anyone else a shot.

And Julius with bunny ears! Who wouldn't want to touch them? Even without knowing what is going on I love that cg.

It's nice to see the characters wearing some different outfits in here. I always appreciate when quinrose expands on their character's wardrobe.

There is still a question hanging in the air though. Did you find any new information on the Jokers?

Glad to share!

Nightmare doesn't really do any of the higher level doctoring that we get to see. (Just a wee bit of Madam Pomfrey-ing off camera.) But oooh yes, I can imagine him trying to give someone a shot - "R-really it won't hurt at all. Just a little... big, painful prick and- Ah! It hurts just saying it!" - Hehehe. It would be ugly.

The wardrobe changes are pretty fun all across the board. Alice going to other territories made for a lot of 'sneaky disguises' for the role holders. (Julius and Elliot's in particular were hilariousNothing all to earth-shatteringly enlightening with the Jokers. (More like they just deepened the mystery really. *shakes fist* Darn you, Quinrose.) Plenty of Black fanservice though. I think they did a really good job at emphasising this time that the Jokers, at their core, are two halves of the same whole. Some nice character development though... (Ace,Gray, and, to some extent, Nightmare all had some interesting character development, too.) Just nothing that I'd point at and go 'OMG PLOT!!'... (... Lol, that's a good Dr. Nightmare impression.

While I'm sad to hear we don't learn more about the Jokers, I'm overjoyed to hear about the Black Joker fanservice(since I'm biased). While I like both of them, I felt that the majority of Joker no Kuni was spent with Alice hanging out with White, and I was left in curiosity about much of Black's character. It's nice to now that there was more emphasis on the Joker's existence. A lot of people don't seem understand the connection between them.

With this talk of character development I'm starting to want another Alice game very badly. Although I'm ready for Quinrose to come to some conclusion for the series.

Yes, White steal the spotlight for a good portion of Joker so it was very nice seeing Black getting some screen time. And it was extremely fun to see Alice dealing more with two Jokers. (Though I would have liked to see if White could use the mask like Black does - observing, talking, etc...aaand I just had the oddest realization that the mask is actually, probably just a fancy walky talky "orz)

Ah, yeah, that was the bad thing about Toybox. It was just so short. It just wet the appetite for a whole nother -full length- Alice game. They have to give us at least one more game, yes? Though I'm not sure how they'd be able to keep Joker around... since he was 'leaving' after Joker and Toybox does have them 'leave' unless they wanna wave the magic plothole wand. (Cause, bad enough if the Jokers go, can you imagine what would happen if they pulled another Clover? Take away someone like Julius and Gowland again and Fangirls would riot.)

...a part of me sorta wishes Quinrose would give us Royale treatment for Joker and continue the ( ... )

EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I already love this, I can't get the game but I'm reading the translation.

I L-O-V-E Julius with bunny ears and when Peters ears where pulled I had a fangasum!

Then I found out there is a romance route with Joker (My favorite character) and I was like "YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", but there's always a downside, I can't tell the difference between them now! (I like to think of them as twins) Since I can never get or play the game, I have to go off pictures. Before, I could go off of there outfits, now, there wearing the exact thing! Oh well, I love them both.

OMG! Nightmare a doctor ... I'm scared. Not just for myself but for Gray. If that poor boy ever gets sick and becomes Nightmares patient *Shudders* I sure hope Nightmare doesn't try and get back at him for all the times Gray tried to cook. I'm still curious though, why was Alice yelling for the doctor?

Yeah, visually it's a bit harder to tell who's who for the Joker's, the second they speak though *fangirls* Akira Ishida has done a very awesome job separating the two. There's brief snippets in the movie, but the games are much better. And Quinrose did an excellent job of keeping the Jokers just as twisted as they were in Joker no Kuni romance route or no!

The irony of Nightmare being a doctor... it's amazingly hilarious. Especially since he's still his sickly self. During the part I snipped, Nightmare starts up with one of his blood coughing fits and Alice panics and calls for a doctor... Gray is very deadpan in his facepalming. XD
