This weekend was definately one of the most exciting I've had in awhile. I went to rehearsal on Friday...we actually got through ACT 1 two times I believe. He took it in sections, and it actually went quite smoothly. I was excited. I'm really happy that the Act is running smoothly...and that I'm in it so much. I counted the number of scenes, and I think I'm in as many or one more than Gertrude. Hehe. I'm really excited for the show.
Saturday I got up early and left, with my mom, to go to Shippensburg University. I suppose I was killing two birds with one stone because I got to see John's "Second Stage Theater Ensemble" perform PINOCCHIO. He was Gepetto (sp?) and was awesome. It was a really cute show. I was excited.
I was supposed to get a "tour" from him, but that kind of fell through because he had strike right after the last show and then his family "surprised" him and took him out to dinner. It was okay, my mom and I hung out in our hotel room for awhile. I took a nap because I had an insane headache, and then she worked on some of the musical ads.
At about 9:30pm he called and picked me up. We looked at the gym/weight room and pool which are all really nice. Then we saw the CUB (Cumberland Union Building) I think that's how its spelled. It was surprisingly large and pretty. Gray stone inside. It was nice. They have the bookstore in there, a coffee shop and cafe type thing, and a bunch of rooms, places to watch movies that they have frequently...and its wireless so thats good. It was cute. I got to see the dorms too...and I met a couple of John's friends. They were really nice.
All in all I had a nice trip I suppose. I do like Ship. It's in a cute little town, but it also has a Wal*Mart, KMart, and a bunch of little resturaunts, a Sheetz, and things to do....so it is cute. ::sigh:: Now I REALLY don't know where I'm going.
Peace, Love and Rollercoasters!
