Hey guys, how's it goin'? It's been a semester! woo!
Workload is increasing. On top of any schoolwork I may or may not have and do, I'm scoring Kareem's film, which is a process in and of itself. If you want to experience hte collaboration, you're just going to have to go to the premier at FSU. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
OH, another funny story and a bit of interesting news. Well, it'll be funny to you guys, and funny to me in some time.
After the percussion concert (it was a while back, didn't tell anybody cause I'm lazy, sorry guys!), some girl comes up to me and says "This is from my friend, here you go.", very rushed. It was a phone number!
hooray!
Skip ahead to last night, I told this girl I'd meet her at for a movie. Keep in mind that I have no idea what she looks like (this come s in handy later). So I go to pick her up from her house (being the gentleman that I am, you see), and as she's coming out... well, unfortunately, I saw that the date would end poorly, for you see, she was at least 300 lbs.
I am not exaggerating.
I drive her to the theater, and we talk (as expected), and she tells me that 1) she's from Iceland, 2) she has pretty bad ADD and refuses to take medicine because (and I quote) "Fuck that, whatev." and 3) she doesn't acknowledge that music major's work really fucking hard (which we do, I'll be happy to give you an earful sometime).
Oh it's not over, but part II will be coming shortly.
