Alright, it's been almost a year since I've heard from you, and I am assuming you are dead. Do not be dead. Update/Have a Happy New Year with the hubby!
Haha, that's true. Oh, assumption. Well, then, you know I'll be expecting you to get a Twitter in which you vent your frustration with the computer and LiveJournal AND YOU STILL DIDN'T TELL ME HOW YOU ARE (besides, you know, the internet/computer problems). I am in my second semester of law school, and feel like a big turd all the damn day long. News from the hinterlands (i.e. any place outside my window or the school or the school's window) is appreciated. P.S. I have started reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels (the HBO show TrueBlood is based on them-- have they sent that over to the UK yet? If not, GO ON THE INTERNET RIGHT NOW!) about vampires and werewolves and fairies and....you know, I think you are the only person I know who will read this and not just have the initial reaction of "What?!? Why?!", and that is 1/100th of why I miss you. Tell hubby I say hello.
I'm ok. I was gainfully employed for two months. Woohoo. And no, I didn't get fired, or quit, they just didn't extend my contract past Christmas
( ... )
Huh. I worked in a bookstore for a few weeks for work experience...where might I have seen said author? Granted, the Sci-fi/Fantasy section was about two metres wide and about 7 shelves high. Considering I did take an hour or so to organise it, I would have seen said author. And if she was in general fiction, I never did get to the S authors. Young adults didn't have her either. Hm. EBOOK LINKS WOMAN. I am not buying another book until I get the new Tamora Pierce one, simply because I've been waiting AGES to get it. Damn her for not having it out for my birthday.
Email me...it hasn't changed. I'm more likely to check that than my LJ these days.
I...uh...don't remember your email address. I'm assuming it is sphynxisms at dot somewhere dot com, so Lj'll have to do. Clearly, I haven't checked my LJ mail in a while, either, seeing how late it is that I'm getting to this. The author of the Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries/ True Blood series (seems to be called a lot of things by a lot of people) is Charlaine Harris. There are a lot of audiobook recordings of the series, and I'm sure there are torrents/websites where people upload books (when I remember the name of the sites, I'll let you know) where you can find them for free. If you can't find that, look up videos of the HBO tv series, True Blood (surf the channel, etc.). I think you'd like it. Hope things are going well. TTYS.
hotmail or gmail are good bets dearie. Although the hotmail is checked more often. You could also look for me on facebook. *hides face* I know, I know, I used to hate that type of place, but apparently, it's a good place to find my friends.
Do not be dead.

I'm not dead yet. Just keep having my computer cut off after I finish long winded entries and I give up. Stupid computer.
