On Monday night when I was racing up to my first class of the semester (about 6pm) my shoes got all wet and we squeakin down the corridors. I walked into this classroom of about 20 guys all just staring at me shoes squeaking, desperately I'm trying to find a chair and computer. Nothing. Then I realise noone is talking anymore even the lecture is starin at me.
"Um... its this ITP402?"
Then the lecturer kicked me out cause the class was to full.
So I took Tuesday off hopeing to get my uni all sorted out. And I think I did because the monday lecture is based off the pracs and well if the class is to full I can't go to the pracs?? Morons. I'm really enjoying Uni. For all the *one* classes I've been to. hehehe. Yesterdays was Network Administration and I learnt a few new tricks like this really neat way to work out the Hexidecimal Equivalent to a Binary number without a calculator. Kinda hard to explain over LJ but you probably don't care anyway. The prac itself was kind of lame like I got this sheet of 8 questions mainly about pinging and DNS etc and I have three pracs to do it in. So I'm just gonna skip the next two pracs and do it at work. Well I pretty much answered most the questions anyway.
The course coordinator is pretty cool, very helpful friendly guy which I appreciate. Sometimes the University system in Darwin is so damn pathetic. I'm very excited about this certificate will be really useful in getting me a new job when I move. Plus work is giving me some opportunities to get out of what I'm doing and start advancing in the company. 6 months and I'm already slowly moving into an A03. I reckon after another 6 months I will have an A03 position. Or at least I'll get the student support position. Shaun is leaving :( Which kind of sucks because he always gives me a hand when I get stuck with something...
I'm off to Brisbane tonight!!! (again I know) For two tribes I swear this is my last concert ever!! I really need to save money. One of Matts friends who I met at Bexta is coming along as well which will be cool. He is a nice enough guy from what I remember. I talked him into it trying to teach the boy the beauty of Hard Trance!! You cannot deny Hard Trance. Matt told me I have to hook him up with some girls but the boy is in Brisbane!! How hard can it be? And from what I remember he wasn't bad looking. ....it was dark at bexta but.
I probably wont get online lj till I get back on Monday so have a good weekend everyone and don't miss me to much.
