Unbelievable

This is just too fucking rich.

Maybe you heard about the story in the NYT about the Department of Justice secretly OK'ing torture, inconsistent with their public statements, and inconsistent with US and international law?

Guess what the sickening cowards on the right wing blogs are talking about (at the exclusion of this actual story)?

Something

Vitally

Important.

And they say that the democrat's attacks on Rush Limbaugh for saying that soldiers who don't support Bush's position on the wars are "phony soldiers" are diversions from the real issues. So, let's see: an ad by a liberal PAC, MoveOn.org, that supposedly mocked General David Petraeus warranted rabid outrage, senate floor debate, and a vote to condemn it, but when the situation is reversed, and a conservative, Rush Limbaugh, says something denigrating United States soldiers, any attacks on him by the Democrats are just a distraction from the real issues. Well, I guess they would know, because that's what this fucking flag-pin "controversy" is. And they're right: the Rush Limbaugh controversy is a distraction from more important issues... just like the MoveOn.org controversy was! There's just no end to the sad absurdity and hypocrisy of political reporting and punditry. The president, his administration, and his AG have all committed war crimes, but Obama's choice of accessories invalidates him for the presidency.

Hey Michelle! If the detainees being held indefinitely without charge, and tortured at Gitmo were wearing American flag pins, would you have a little more sympathy for them? I bet you actually would, you simple, superficial, bloated bag of Hot Air.
