someone please tell me how this makes ANY sense, and if so, in what fucking universe:
when one of the girls that works at the studio noticed she was scheduled to work on christmas eve (10am-2pm the horror!) she complained and asked for it off because she wanted to spend time with her bf's family that's in town for the next two weeks. as we work with a staff of only six (including my mom, the owner, and myself, the manager), it didn't work out that she could get the time off. so she asked her sister, who used to work for us (but quit about a month ago) to come in and work her shift as a favor. while i found this odd, it didnt bother me too much, didn't seem too out there. but now. now her sister cant work because she's getting her wisdom teeth pulled. so the girl, instead of just accepting the new circumstances and thinking, "hey, thats how the cookie crumbles sometimes, i'll just have to see my boyfriend who i practically live with after 2pm instead of every waking second of that day" instead she tells us "oh, my mom is going to come in and work for me."
WHAT THE FUCK?!
her mom?! her mom is just going to waltz into the studio and work for her daughter? how the hell is that a rational solution?! how big are this girl's balls for her to come in and say that, not ask if its ok, but flat out tell us, that this is the way it's going to roll? this bitch only works 8 hours a week AS IT IS, asks off literally two sundays a month, and she can't suck it up and work FOUR HOURS on christmas eve?! when mom and i are working 9am-9pm every fucking day and can't take ANY time off to see our family for the holidays?!
