Surprise !
My boss showed up at my office during my lunch break. he asked me a couple of things and we went to his office. Then I went back to lunch; 5 minutes later he came back to my office and told me that he decided to raise my salary before the due date which was on June 1st. I was surprised and thanked him and told him that it is really appreciated, he answered that he appreciates my professionalism and creativity. How nice !
