Illegible babbling of sorts...
So, I know that I've been back for a while and I haven't posted my Egypt blog yet, but I'm waiting to get all the photos together.
But I have something more importaint right now to tell you.
I GOT ORDERS TO THE USS GEORGE WASHINGTON!!!
I've been trying to get there for almost two years and after months of getting dicked around by my detailer and then taking a gamble to wait one more month, it's finally happened!
Not only was it my first Chief and mentor's ship, but its also heading to replace the USS Kitty Hawk in Japan next year. Tip of the fucking spear once again true beleivers!!!
I guess it all comes back to fate. Today I was scheduled to start yet another adventure, but at quite a loss to yours truley. I wouldn't have been able to contact my detailer. The departure was scrubbed for one day and I got the feeling that it was for a reason. I guess I was right!
So, once again fate has played a hand in my Navy career.
Man I feel soooooo good!
