I have a disgustingly huge work schedule going on at the moment but I (thank the heavens) got the middle of the day off today and decided to finally get some groceries. I went, I shopped, and as I was leaving I thought, 'hmmm Wok Me for lunch sounds good' and stepped into the shop.
There was a Japanese guy behind the counter and as soon as he stood up I immediately thought 'Jin!'. He was too young and his hair was too short but otherwise they were amazingly alike - very similar facial features. I tried to ignore it (and tried not to be bothersome because he was obviously new and he didn't seem very competent with the cash register) but then he looked up at me and asked a question at the same time as adjusting his glasses and my knees went a little weak. I feel kinda stupid about that. Jin's not even my type but the way this guy pushed he glasses up with his pinky finger was just kyaaaa. *dead*
Turned out that he was the cook there and he was only manning the register until his co-worker got back so I feel a little special that I walked in when he was there alone. I feel stupid that I reacted like this to some random guy but there you go - JE has corrupted my brain.
He's a good cook too.
je corruption,
wok me
