Jonah had a plan. He knew he wanted to take Peg out somewhere and he knew there was absolutely no way she was going to let him so the solution was very simple. He wasn't going to tell her. He had it all set up, the hotel room was paid for and he was all dressed up for the night. She couldn't say no if it was already set up, could she? He didn't

"Drinks. You can make me one'a your fruity drinks," Peg said with a wide smirk.

She went to fiddle with the music player.

Jonah laughed, going over to the bar. "Okay," he agreed. "What's your favorite color?"

"Blue. Can ya make me anything blue?" she asked, heading over to the bar herself, slipping into a stool.

He looked through the contents of the bar, looking to see if they had anything. "Yeah, I think so," he nodded, pulling a few bottles out. "Do you like pineapple? Or would you rather have a martini?"

"A martini," Peg decided, watching him.

"A martini then," he said, smiling, starting to mix the drinks. He made something a little sweeter for himself and he presented her with a glass when he was through. "Tell me what you think, I'm not always brilliant at making cocktails."

Peg took a sip and grinned widely.

"S'good," she said, leaning in to kiss him. "Thanks."

He grinned against her lips, stealing another kiss for himself before running around the bar to pull her out into the middle of the room again. With his drink in one hand, he set his other to her waist and started to sway to the music.

Peg draped her arm over his shoulder and swayed with him gently, moving her hips like she did.

Jonah tried to follow her, blushing a little. "I might be getting better at this, what do you think?"

"A little, yea," Peg laughed, sipping her drink before resting her head on his shoulder.

He held her close, grateful for a slower song. "Thank you for staying."

"Thanks for this," Peg whispered in his ear.

"Anytime, Peg," he said, kissing her cheek. "You just say the word."

"Won't be often," she reminded him.

"I know," he nodded. "And I promise I won't surprise you too often." He kissed her.
