I wouldn't call it lonely.

Even if it was - is, what is the purpose in announcing it? Curse logic says there doesn't have to be a purpose, period, and if we go with that then it just amounts to the same thing as all the other ones like this: a city-wide show and tell. It really is one of the more depressing curses they could have come up with. It's like a bunch of whining teenagers all over the network today.

The unfortunate part is definitely the sharing factor. If it was just the feeling, that would be much more acceptable -- which is probably why they didn't stop there.

I think the sharing factor is the whole curse. People are always lonely, you know? They usually just keep it to themselves.
