I'm actually pretty excited to be taking most of these classes. Tentatively my schedule is something like this (I only have guesses at which period's my classes will be):
1st: Physics(?) / HL Psyche(?)
2nd: Dir. Study / 12th Lit M(?)
3rd: AP Calc / French 1
4th: Dir. Study (tight) / AP Env. Sys.
Summer's almost over and I've been pretty unproductive (four books to read). I'm really waiting for the school year to start to start evaluating what this summer has meant to me. I don't want to worry about anything until my friends leaving for college have left. Until then, I just want to hang out with a few of these kids until they leave. It's fucking terrifying to know that they'll all be gone by the end of the month; I've never had so many people important in my life just up and leave all at once.
I don't know what Margaret and I are doing when she leaves. I registered her for her college classes (her trusting me with this means a lot to me) and she only goes to classes Mon-Wed for the whole school year; her dad is a pilot so she can get free plane tickets. I know it's not realistic to think that she'll make this trip each weekend to come down for a couple days, but sometimes there's comfort in pretending everything works out in the end.
