Maureen Ryan conducted this interview around April 15th so after the TVG and EW articles appeared. Is it back tracking and covering his/the show's ass? Possibly.

It occurs to me that we might want to think about getting an email address and asking Maureen Ryan why "it" is "best left to fan fiction" and Huddy isn't. That's the phrase that really insults me. I don't expect anything out of Fox (or Shore) but, at the same time, I think it's certainly worth campaigning for (House/Wilson stuff). If we don't speak up now, things will not get better in the future. The terms he used also seemed to slam the door on future "encouragement".
And I will add on, I've found an email address. I don't post on House_Wilson any longer so (if it's permitted) someone might want to try posting this themselves. moryan@tribune.com
