26 days left to go!
well i figure i have to give a nice little update here since both laura and walt have told me to! so here goes:
-i got a COOL present from my mom today. when dad came up on the 20th for the willie nelson concert he brought be a box labelled "do not open until aug 01/05 - from the weirdest mom in the world" well UNLIKE LESLIE (teehee) i waited until today, and it was worth it! mom wrapped up a whole bunch of little gifts in brown paper and strung them together with butchers string! now i get a little gift everyday until i get to come home! hopefully this month will just fly by! today it was 4 mini boxes of nerds. yum yum. i am pretty sure one of the days is a package of tic tacs...but that is all i can decipher at this point (how exciting!)
- this weekend i got to come down to kamloops (or up i guess) that trip was far overdue! Saturday jim and i drove through armstrong and enderby to the lake (muchos fun and a super nice drive) and then came in Sunday morning! i got to see laura and mel and walt that day (which was also muchos fun) also, i got to give mel and walt their early b-day gifties which is kind of like a nice weight off the ol' shoulders, even though it is sad that i dont get to celebrate with them. sorry to all of those i didnt have time to "chill" with, i was ona tight schedule we will have to wait for the end of the month!
-on Saturday night i had the privilege of walt reading my mind. i was just heading over to give him a call to help him pack up some things for his big move to 'the hood' when he called me! oh that is such a crazy/odd occurrence! Insanity!
- i have somehow gibbled myself. this entire weekend i have had the hugest tummy ache and have been dizzy/nauseated. ick! today was probably the worst, luckily jim was fine pulling over on the trip home.
- i got to see walt and travis's new pad today....even though this train of thought isnt quite in order...(too bad! it seems you are reading my randomness anyways). it was pretty neato. i cant wait until they have settled in and i can come clean their bathroom (or something else equally odd).
- i have been told on multiple occasions that i would make the perfect house wife. everyone at work always complains about dishes and cooking and laundry (especially hand washing and ironing) and i always seems to reply with something about how i dont mind doing those things at all! wait until they find out about my love for mopping floors and quilting! all i have left to do is master the art of making evening cocktails and assorted jams and jellies!
ok. that is clearly enough from me. i think i need to go scarf down those nerds before jim returns from the bathroom. (hehehe)
